Dr. Muzoora Saphan is an aspiring academic leader, biochemist, and innovation strategist serving as an Associate Dean and Innovations Team Leader at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Kisubi. He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine, an MSc in Biochemistry, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education. He is further certified in Laboratory Diagnostics, Pedagogical Training, and Competency-Based Training and Assessment, reflecting his strong foundation in both scientific research and academic practice.
His scholarly expertise centers on Biochemistry and Food Safety, with particular focus on mycotoxins, toxicology, and public health safety systems. Dr. Muzoora has translated research into impactful bio-based innovations, including organic synchromates, organic antibacterial, antifungal, anti-allergic, and anti-inflammatory formulations, an anti-diabetic herbal remedy, and an organic pesticide that supports sustainable agriculture and environmental health.
