UniK Trike is an education-driven clean mobility startup founded to close the gap between classroom theory and real-world skills in Uganda. We design and deploy dual solar–electric tricycles that function both as sustainable transport and as mobile learning laboratories for renewable energy, electric mobility, and applied engineering.
Our founders engineers and educators saw a persistent problem: learners graduate with theoretical knowledge but little hands-on exposure to modern green technologies. At the same time, communities face rising fuel costs, limited transport options, and growing environmental pressure. UniK Trike was created to solve both challenges by turning clean transport technology into a practical, affordable training platform for schools, TVET institutions, and community learning centers.
